Creating New Jewellery Daily!!

Hello everyone!!! :)

I had an excellent day today! I had today and the next two days off work, so I decided late tuesday night that on my days off I was going to finish off all my little projects that I had not yet completed!

Well seeing that today was my first day off.. boy oh boy did I enjoy it! Not only was it a lovely day here but I felt totally relaxed and at peace for the first time this week! I also managed to complete another 2 Gem Trees, and finish off a leather necklace with large wooden pendant that I started a week agao, yet did not have time to complete it due to work commitments. Well all finished now! Yippee!

I think tomorrow I will be making some more bracelets, maybe this time I may use Memory Wire seeing I have not used it before! So this also will be a first for me!

I will post the pictures tomorrow when I get my camera back! So stay tuned and remember to tell your friends about this blog! DONT FORGET TO FOLLOWTHIS BLOG! I would like to see your smiling faces and know your enjoying my work!
I also have a page in Face Book, all you have to do is type in
" Hand Made Beaded Jewellery" and you can like my page!

Cheers for now!!

The Gem Tree Project!

Hello Bloggers and Guests!

Well as I stated in my last post, I was going to attempt to make a gem tree! Well I have and I must say for my first ever attempt I surprised even myself. Surprised my partner as well as he saw it and told me it was "cute". he has not claimed it as his!

I actually found that it was quite easy to make once you got started! I found my supplies at "Spotlight", one of my many beading shops. They have everything you could need. When walking around the many isles your mind wonders and you can come up with many a project!

Well for this Gem Tree I decided to use 24 gauge wire.. as I found the 20 gauge wire to hard to work with!
I guess the whole project took me around 3 hours to make, but seeing this was my first ever attempt of designing a tree from wire I took my time!

Once I had formed the tree's shape oh my... how excited I became. :)

Now I must say that I used a tutorial on how to make a beaded gem tree which I will add a link to at the bottom of this post! This tutorial was easy to follow and had step by step instructions and clear picture that you could follow! So really I could not go wrong!

I think I plan to make a few more of these in the next few days. I read somewhere when crawling through many pages of information on how to make a Gem tree, that once you make one.. you want to make more.. well they were right! One is not enough!

Well please see below for my photo of my finished Gem Tree and feel free to check out the link also!

Cheers Bloggers! XXX

Not bad if I do have to say so myself!!

The link below will take you to the site where I found the tutorial for the beaded gem tree!

New And Exciting Project!!

Hi bloggers and guests!

Well I have to say that I am quite excited about the new project that I am soon to attempt! Its funny that after a while of making earrings, necklaces and bracelets, you seem to get complacent and want to move onto bigger and better things.

Now don't get me wrong i will still be making jewellery like the above mentioned but when I saw this design I could not help but fall in love with it very easily and thought that I could also make these!

The project I will be embarking on is ... ready for this???

Beaded Gem Trees!

These trees are made out of wire, and look absolutely beautiful when they are completed!
See picture below for example!

I plan to start this during next week and I will try and have some pictures up ASAP!!

I hope you follow me on this adventure for this project and don't forget to leave any comments or suggestions!

You can also become a follower of this blog if you so choose to!

Well that me for now so stay tuned!!!
Cheers!

These designs are being used as an example!
I would like to state that Credit goes to the artist(s) who have made these !

I will be making similar ones!!!

Starting Fresh!

Hello readers!

Well Let me start by introducing myself.

I can and usually be referred to as KIMBA! yes Kimba the White Lion or lioness in my case.

I am a 29year old female who lives in Ballarat Victoria and have for the past 11 years after moving from Adelaide in the year 2000.

For the past 5 years now I have been beading and making jewellery.
How did I get into beading well, its a short story really!

One day when home alone and very bored I decided to take a look around town. I came across a little beading store in the heart of Ballarat! So I went in and took a look around! I was immediately hooked! All types of beads lay out before me and the walls covered in pieces of jewellery that had been made from the beads which lay in front of me! WOW!

From that moment on I wanted to make my own jewellery! So I bought a little beading kit which had a few pairs of earrings to make for beginners and I went home and practised making them! Needless to say I was crap! But as I persisted making different types I found that I really enjoyed this and from there well I just kept going!

For the last two years I have let my beading slip! Since moving house a few years back, my beads and all my jewellery went into boxes and put into cupboards and did not come out again. I found myself far to busy and did not have the hours spare to keep creating!

Well I have now decided to bring all my jewellery and beading back to life seeing it is something that I do enjoy, hence this blog!

I will be posting up everything that I make and hopefully this will lead somewhere. Where exactly i do not know.If you like something I put up I am happy to sell the pieces I make, all you have to do is let me know!

So for now, I guess I will see how this all pans out!

Follow me and lets have fun together!
