New Project...

Hi Readers...

It has been a long long time between posts! For that I am sorry!
I just had a friend start up a blog which has reminded me of mine.. and that I should update it!! So here it is!

My last post was when I branched out and started to expand my range of items that i was making... well I have done that, and to date I have over 170 items still waiting to be sold...
If you have not seen what i have got in stock... which mind you is ALL HAND MADE by myself then check out my Facebook page. " KIMBA"S CREATIONS"!!!

Ok well since doing a quick stocktake and reliasing that I have mad over 170 items of jewelley and other such things, my partner told me I need a place where i can bead and create and not be interupted all the time by having to pack up all my things, seeing that my usual beading place has been in the kitchen on the kitchen table!

So I took his advice and ventured out to the back shed! Hmmm thinking while standing in the shed that I could really do this little two storey room up and make it a place of my own!
SO I DID EXACTLY THAT!... well I am still working on it, but day by day , night by night progress is being made! I should state that I am only using the bottom half of the shed!

For the past 4 weeks now i have been plastering and sanding the walls and recently and by that i mean today I decided it was time to start getting serious on this project and start adding some more boards to the walls to cover large gaps / holes. So again I did!

After more plastering I have finally got the room covered enough to start feeling alright about the whole project! ( WOW) !!!

So hopefully by tomorrow if the plaster on the walls is dry I will be able to sand it all back and soon the time will come to start being able to paint the walls and then lay down some carpet!
That my friends is when I will start to get excited about what I have achieved! Mine you all this work so far I have done on my own with out any help! Oh and YES I AM A GIRL! See they can be very useful when it come to home renovations! ( LOL)

I do not have a deadline for this project as yet, but I know I would like it completed sometime this year! That would be nice!
I will try and keep youall updated on this project and how my advances in the sanding process goes!

For now I leave you all with this...

Dont be affraid to get your hands dirty! if you really want something, GO DO IT YOURSELF!

Jazzing Them Up!

Hello bloggers and guests..

Firstly I have to apologise for the delay in posts.. I have been very busy from the start of this new year and though things are starting to slow down a bit for me now, i may be able to get back to what i love doing...  "BEADING"!!!

Ok so I have been making a few new items in this new year, just because I have not posted any photo's in a while does not mean that I have not been making items. Though I just have not been making items consistently.

I thought I would take this opportunity to tell you a bit about what I have been doing seeing I can not post the photos yet, I have some of bracelets and a pair of beaded thongs you will find below though not photos of everything. Hopefully in the next couple of days when I have a few days off in a row! yippee.

Well since my last post I have been experimenting with memory wire, now this was a fun activity that my step-daughter helped me with... we made around 12 memory wire bracelets... we had a ball.

I have also been working with trying to dress up the common flip flop maybe more commonly known to people as "thongs" .. I have made three pairs and though I really used to hate thongs I have to say that I quite like them now!

Well for now my friend and guests.. don't forget to join me here again for more posts !!

CHEERS!!!
